In 2010, record-high temperatures swept through the Connecticut River Valley, creating ideal conditions for cultivating an exceptional crop of tobacco. From this harvest came the exquisite wrapper used for the Macanudo Vintage 2010. Aged for 10 years, the Connecticut Shade wrapper is expertly paired with a Nicaraguan binder and a filler blend of Dominican Piloto Cubano 94, Nicaraguan, and Honduran tobaccos aged three to five years. Each cigar is handmade in the Dominican Republic and elegantly encased in cedar to preserve its refined flavor and delicate wrapper.
